Do to Help an Orphan Now?
1. Start by calling your local Child Protective Services office.

Children's Services offices, in every
state, are stretched to the max.
Too many cases, tricky laws and not near enough staff and volunteers.
You and your family can make a difference.
Don't let these kids fall through
the cracks. The office near you most likely
has projects lined up that you can help with starting today.
If not, start a project yourself in cooperation with CHildren's
Services or an orphan charity in your community!!
2. Get involved with a local orphan
support group.
Like Big Brothers/Big Sisters,
there are many charities that specialize in supporting the orphans
in foster care near you. Do some research, call Children's Services
and ask them about charities that support local orphans.
